Madison and her fiancé Chris’s 1957 Mid-Century modern house in Wichita, Kansas has such interesting architecture, I’ve never seen one quite like it. 

It’s a smaller home, but look at how open it is. I like this setup. 

Madison said the home was built by one architect who did the street where she lives and only one other block in another town, and that was it. She’s been trying to find the original blueprints for it. 

When they first saw the house, it had a lot damage, but they loved it, so they put in an offer and been restoring it. 

This is a modern feature I’ve never seen in a MCM house- a small loft. 

Madison filled it with plants and furnishes it with authentic MCM pieces, thrifted finds, and things that Chris built himself.

The pets enjoy sitting on the stairs and looking out the huge windows. 

Madison prides herself in making her home stand out without making it a time capsule for everything mid-century.
